Worked as a newspaper editor.

Still sad about all we have lost.

I picked up Nudge in 2009 and never finished it; continuously reading the phrase "libertarian paternalism" made me want to barf. Still, it's one of a few books I can point to and say, "What I learned here changed my life." Their discussion of incentives has influenced how I think about human behavior for nearly 20 years. I've leveraged that info countless times in multiple professional roles, in community organizing work, and even in my personal life. It almost feels like a cheat code. For that, my gratitude to Thaler and Sunstein.

By the way, I've followed you on bluesky for several months, but until today I had no idea you had a substack. Maybe the algorithm, maybe not, but hought you should know - especially if this space is how you support yourself.

I'll be back again!
