I struggle to understand how or why AI would have any relevance on the fire situation? To 99% of average people, AI is nothing but a tech marketing buzzword that has no impact on their daily lives.

I absolutely will not use AI. Other than the auto correct/spell check it's always been used for.
No, why would I? I loathe AI for multiple reasons. I'd like to see it die.
